Mission Statement of the Santa Cruz – Monterey Bay Area Subunit:
The mission of the Santa Cruz – Monterey Bay Area subunit of the California-Nevada Chapter of the American Fisheries Society is to advance local understanding of aquatic ecosystems and the fisheries they support, foster professional development and local collaboration, and carry out local outreach to support aquatic ecosystem conservation through education and restoration.
