- February 27, 4:30 PM: Executive Committee meeting. All are welcome. Location: Library in UCSC’s Center for Ocean Health.
- March 3: Help deliver trout eggs to local classrooms. SCMBAS is getting involved in the Trout in the Classroom program. More information coming soon!
- March 10, 4-7 PM: Fundraiser at Equinox Winery. Equinox is located next to West End Tap. Bring your friends!
- March 18, 8:30-10:30 AM: Fish-focused tour of the San Lorenzo River. Led by Nick Macias and Travis Apgar, SCMBAS members from UCSC. Sign up here. FREE.
- April 5-7: California-Nevada Chapter Meeting in Eureka, CA. SCMBAS is hosting a fisheries panel at this conference. Travel funds may be available — contact the Executive Committee if interested in going.
- April 15, 10-12 AM: San Lorenzo River clean-up.
- April 22, 12 PM: March for Science San Francisco. Event info here.
- Early May: Fish Tales: A night of storytelling and sustainable seafood. Details TBA.
- June 6: Loch Lomond BBQ and Fishing Derby. End of year SCMBAS social gathering.
